The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during Monday 4 September 2023, The index reached 53.990 points, compared to 54.057 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index decreased against 2 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It Fell against the Euro, pound sterling, it rose against Chinese Yuan, Japanese Yen and settled against, UAE dirham, US dollar, Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt Increased from EGP 33.34 to EGP 33.43 while the average buying rose from EGP 33.22 to EGP 33.32 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt Increased from EGP 38.95 to EGP 39.10 while the average buying rose from EGP 38.82 to EGP 38.96 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP 4.26 to EGP 4.25. while the average buying settled at EGP 4.24 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 21.15 to EGP 21.14. while the average buying fell from EGP 21.08 to EGP 21.06 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt remain stable at EGP 8.24 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.84 for buying.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
