EGP index Fell against a basket of major currencies to 53.719 points on Monday

The Egyptian pound index declined against the major currencies during Monday 21 August 2023, The index reached 53.719 points, compared to 53.779 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index decreased against 2 Currency among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It Fell against the Euro, pound sterling, it rose against Japanese Yen and settled against the UAE dirham, US dollar, Chinese Yuan, Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt Increased from EGP 33.64 to EGP 33.76 while the average buying rose from EGP 33.53 to EGP 33.65 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt Increased from EGP 39.41 to EGP 39.49 while the average buying rose from EGP 39.27 to EGP 39.36 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 4.24 while the buying price fell from EGP4.23 to EGP 4.22 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 21.28 to EGP 21.22 while the average buying fell from EGP 21.21 to EGP 21.15 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.84 for buying.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
