Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Monday's closing session

The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Monday 6 November with Increase in the market cap by 0.52% to record EGP 351.499 bn compared to EGP 349.670 bn Yesterday's session.
The market cap of the banking sector reached 23.56% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange.
The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 1.174 mn which represents 23.94% of the total trading volume today after 19.674 million shares were exchanged capturing 1.53% of the total trading volume.
The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with decrease EGX only and turnover amounted EGP 10 mn on shares.
The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” fell by 0.15% and 23.246 points, “EGX70” index for medium stocks rose by 0.67% to record 4.559 points, and the broader index “EGX100” Increased by 0.43% to record 6.784 points.
