NBE accounts for 26.3% of total Mortgage financing, reaching EGP 16.8 bn, by October-2023end

A recent report from Real Estate Finance Fund revealed that Al Ahli Bank has acquired a 26.3% share of the total mortgage financing granted by banks under mortgage financing initiative, reaching EGP 16.825 bn by the end of October 2023, benefiting 141,971 clients.
Mai Abdelhamid, the head of the Real Estate Finance Fund, noted that the total financing provided by banks has increased to EGP 61.541 bn by the end of October 2023, involving 22 banks in the Egyptian banking sector.
The number of clients benefiting from real estate financing offered by banks has risen to 516,096 clients, with banks now holding 96.3% of the total clients benefiting from mortgage financing in the past month.
