HD Bank : Fastest growing listed bank in syndicated loans

HD Bank topped the list of the fastest-growing listed banks in syndicated loans during the first 9 months of the current year, rising from the second position on the same list from the year 2022.
The bank’s syndicated loan portfolio jumped to EGP 2.56 bn by the end of the third quarter of 2023, compared to EGP2.11 bn by the end of 2022, with a growth rate of 20.95% and an increase of EGP442.18 mn.
This contributed to the overall growth of HD Bank’s loans to corporates, with a jump of about 10.88%, reaching EGP 18.82 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP16.97 bn by the end of 2022, with an increase of EGP1.85 bn.
In general, HD Bank recorded strong growth in its key indicators, with its asset portfolio increasing by about 14.22%, reaching EGP118.37 bn by the end of the third quarter of 2023, compared to EGP103.63 bn by the end of 2022, with an increase of EGP14.74 bn.
Total loans of the bank to customers increased by EGP 4.7 bn during the first 9 months of the current year, reaching EGP42.86bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP38.16 bn by the end of 2022, with a growth rate of 12.30%.
Customer deposits portfolio jumped from EGP89.49 bn at the end of last year to EGP95.51bn by the end of the third quarter of 2023, with a growth rate of 6.73%, and an increase of EGP6.02 bn.
The bank achieved strong net profits, reaching EGP4.42 bn during the first 9 months of the current year, compared to EGP1.75 bn during the same period in 2022, with a growth rate of 152.16%, and an increase of EGP2.67 bn.
