FirstBank List Of The Fastest-Growing Banks In Net Interest Income During The First 9 Months Of The Current Year Revealed That FAB Egypt Topped The List, as its Net Interest Income Jumping By 120%, Recording EGP 11 Bn during The First 9 months Of 2023, Compared To EGP 5.004 Bn during the same period Of 2022.
The List Included 21 Banks Operating In The Egyptian Banking Sector, All Of Which Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Net interest Income From January To September 2023.
Returning To The List, HD Bank Took The Second Position With A Growth Rate Of 114.2%, Recording A Net interest Income Of EGP 7.3 Bn In The First 9M Of 2023, Compared To EGP 3.4 Bn In The First Half Of 2022.
AAIB Claimed The Third Position With A Growth Rate Of 106%, As Its Net Income From Returns Increased To EGP 11.1 Bn During the First 9 months of 2023, Compared To EGP 5.4 Bn In The same period Of 2022. Credit Agricole Egypt Followed With A Growth Rate Of 101.3% During The Same Period.
NBK- Egypt Ranked Fifth With A Growth Rate Of 89.5%, Recording A Net Interest Income Of Approximately EGP 5 Bn At The First 9M-2023, Compared To EGP 2.6 Bn During The Same Period. Followed by Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt with A Growth Rate Of 87.4% During The Same Period.
Ebank, Secured The Seventh Position With A Net Interest Income 82.4%, Recording EGP EGP3.8Bn In The First 9M Of 2023, Compared To EGP 2.1 Bn In The Same Period In 2022.
Suez Canal Bank Secured The Eighth Position With A Net Income Growth Rate Of 74.4%, Recording EGP 2.3 Bn In The First 9M- 2023, Compared To EGP 1.3 bn. During The Same Period of 2022.
CIB - Egypt Ranked Ninth With A Growth Rate Of 73.1%, As Its Net Interest Income From Returns Increased To EGP 37.6 Bn During The First 9M Of 2023, Compared To EGP 21.7 Bn In The Same Period In 2022.
ADCB Egypt Claimed The Tenth Position With A Growth Rate Of 71.02%, Recording Net Income Of EGP 3.2 Bn In The First Half Of 2023, Compared To EGP 1.9 Bn During The Same Period of 2022.
