HD Bank's retail Loans grow by 13.4%, recording EGP 24 Bn during 9M-2023

The separate financial statements of HD Bank, for the period ending on September 30th of the current year, have revealed a growth in the bank's portfolio of retail loans by a rate of 13.4% during the first 9 months of 2023, an increase of EGP 2.85 bn.
The size of the bank's portfolio of Retail loans reached EGP 24.04 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP 21.19 bn by the end of December 2022, accounting for 56.10% of the total customer loans and facilities by the end of the first 9 months of the current year.
Contributing to this growth, the bank's portfolio of personal loans increased by 16.5% and witnessed an increase of EGP 1.50 bn during the first 9 months of the current year, bringing its total value to EGP 10.58 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP 9.08 bn by the end of December 2022.
The size of the bank's credit card portfolio increased by 24%, with an increase of EGP 23 mn during the first 9M-2023, moving from EGP 95.8 mn by the end of December 2022 to EGP 118.8 mn by the end of September 2023.
Total Mortgage loans portfolio at the bank saw a growth rate of 10.5%, with an increase of EGP 1.2 bn during the first 9 months of the current year. Its value reached EGP 12.2 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP 11.1 bn by the end of December 2022.
It is worth noting that the total customer loan portfolio increased by a growth rate of 12.3% during the first 9M of the current year, surpassing EGP 42.9 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP 38.2 bn by the end of December 2022, reflecting an increase of EGP 4.7 bn.
