EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 54.017 points on Sunday

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during Sunday 4 February 2024, The index reached 54.017 points, compared to 53.885 points at last Thursday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index rose against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the Euro, pound sterling, Japanese yen, and settled against, UAE dirham, Chinese Yuan, Saudi riyal, US dollar.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 33.45 to EGP 33.37 while the average buying declined from EGP 33.33 to EGP 33.25 at the end of today's trading.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 39.21 to EGP 39.08 while the average buying fell from EGP 39.08 to EGP 38.95 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 21.03 to EGP 20.85 while the average buying Fell from EGP 20.96 to EGP 20.78.
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 4.30. while the average buying decreased from EGP 4.29 to EGP 4.28 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.25 while the average buying settled at EGP 8.22.at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 while the average buying settled at EGP 30.84.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
