EGP index Fell against a basket of major currencies to 54.091 points on Tuesday

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during Tuesday 20 February 2024, the index reached 54.091 points, compared to 54.111 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index Fell against 2 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It Fell against the Euro, Chinese Yuan, it rose against pound sterling, Japanese Yen, and settled against UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 33.35 to EGP 33.41 while the average buying rose from EGP 33.23 to EGP 33.29 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP4.29 to EGP 4.30 while the average buying settled at EGP 4.28.at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 39.03 to EGP 38.96 while the average buying declined from EGP 38.89 to EGP 38.83 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 20.62 to EGP 20.59 while the average buying Fell from EGP 20.56 to EGP 20.52 at the end of today's trading

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal settled at EGP 8.24 while the average buying settled at EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 while the average buying settled at EGP 30.84.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
