EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 39.143 points on Tuesday

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during March 12 2024, the index reached 39.143 points, compared to 38.922 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against all Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It rose against the Euro, US dollar, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Chinese Yuan, pound sterling, and Japanese Yen.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt Fell from EGP49.07 to EGP 48.83 while the average buying Fell from EGP 48.98 to EGP 48.73 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 53.70 to EGP 53.40 while the average buying Fell from EGP 53.59 to EGP 53.27 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 63.08 to EGP 62.47 while the average buying fell from EGP 62.93 to EGP 62.33 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 33.46 EGP 33.13 while the average buying Fell from EGP 33.39 to EGP 33.06 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt declined from EGP 6.83 to EGP 6.80 at the end of today's trading. while the average buying Fell from EGP 6.81 to EGP 6.79.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal Fell from EGP13.08 to EGP 13.02 while the average buying Fell from EGP 13.05 to EGP 12.99 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt Fell from EGP13.36 to EGP 13.29 while the average buying Fell from EGP 13.33 to EGP 13.26 at the end of today's trading.
