According To First Bank List of Fastest-Growing Banks In Syndicated Loans, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt Topped The List With A Growth Rate Of 123% during the Last Year, Increasing Its Total Portfolio To EGP 795 mn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 356 mn By The End Of December 2022.
The List Revealed the Total Syndicated Loans Of 19 Banks In The Egyptian Banking Sector, For Which Financial Data Were Available For Analysis, And 13 Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In The Syndicated Loans, While 6 Banks Experienced A Decline In Their Syndicated Loan Portfolios From January To December 2023.
Returning To The List, aiBANK Secured The Second Position With A Growth Rate Of 72.73% during the Last Year, Increasing Its Total Portfolio To EGP 3.33 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 1.93Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Housing And Development Bank Came In Third Place With A Growth Rate Of 55.50% During The Last Year, After The Bank’s Total Portfolio Of Syndicated Loans Rose To EGP 3.28Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 2.11Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Ahli United Bank - Egypt come in Fourth Position with A Total Syndicated Loan Portfolio Growth Rate Of 39.61% During the Last Year, Reaching EGP 9.17 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 6.57 Bn By The End Of December 2022, Followed By Banque Du Caire With A Growth Rate Of 20.42% During The Same Period.
As For Sixth Place, Saib Obtained It After Achieving a Growth Rate Of 18.91% In Its Syndicated Loan Portfolio During The Last Year, To Record EGP 13.90 Bn At The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 11.69 Bn At The End Of December 2022.
Arab African International Bank Ranked Seventh With A Growth Rate Of 18.23% During The First Last Year, Recording A Total Syndicated Loan Portfolio Of EGP 49.22 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 41.63 Bn By The End Of December 2022,
Commercial International Bank-CIB Secured the Eighth Position With A Growth Rate Of 14.73% During The last year, Its Syndicated Loans Increasing To EGP 51.31bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 44.72 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Suez Canal Bank Secured the Ninth Position with A Growth Rate Of 13.80% During The Last Year, As Its Syndicated Loan Portfolio Increased To EGP10.93Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 9.61 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
EBank come In Tenth Position with A Growth Rate Of 11.71% during the Last Year, Reaching A Total Syndicated Loan Portfolio Of EGP 7.53 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP6.74 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
