Meanwhile, The Savings and Deposit Certificate Portfolio Amounted to EGP 53.98 Bn At The Same Period.
The List Reveals The Banking Corporates' Strategies In Shaping Their Deposit Portfolios Among 21 Banks In The Egyptian Banking Sector. The Data Analyzed Focused Specifically on The Issuance Of Savings And Deposit Certificates To Attract More Customers.
The List Is Based on The Ratio Of Savings And Deposit Certificates To Total Deposits, Providing An Indicator Of How Much A Bank's Deposit Portfolio Is Concentrated In Savings And Deposit Certificates.
Faisal Islamic Bank In Egypt come in second place With A Concentration Of 34.98%, Having A Savings Certificate Portfolio Of EGP45.63Bn and Total Deposits Of EGP130.46 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
alBaraka Bank Secured The Third Position With 34.13% Of Its Deposit Portfolio, Valued At EGP 85.01 Bn, Concentrated In Savings And Deposit Certificates Worth EGP 29.01 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Followed By Banque Du Caire, With Concentration Ratio Of 33.22% During The Same Period.
As For the Fifth Position, It Was Taken By Commercial International Bank (CIB) After 27.96% Of Its Deposit Portfolio, Valued At EGP 675.31 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Was Focused On Savings And Deposit Certificates, Which Recorded EGP 188.83 Bn By The End Of The Same Period.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt Ranked Sixth, With Its Savings And Deposit Certificates Portfolio Capturing 25.85% Of Its Total Deposits, Valued At EGP 127.13 Bn, While The Value Of The Savings And Deposit Certificates Portfolio Amounted To EGP 32.86 Bn By The End Of December 2023, NBK Egypt Followed With A Concentration Ratio Of 25.63% During The Same Period.
Qatar National Bank -QNB Al Ahli Came In Ninth Place, With Its Savings And Deposit Certificates Portfolio Representing 18.59% Of Its Total Deposits, Valued At EGP 530.12 Bn. The Value Of Its Savings And Deposit Certificates Reached EGP 98.58 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
ABK- Egypt Secured the Ninth Place, With 17.12% Of Its Deposit Portfolio Focused On Savings Certificates And Deposits. The Total Value Of Its Deposit Portfolio Amounted To Around EGP 83.06Bn, While The Savings Certificates And Deposits Reached EGP 14.22 Bn By December 2023 End.
aiBank come in Tenth position After 16.41% Of Its Deposit Portfolio, Valued At EGP 50.90 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Was Focused On Savings And Deposit Certificates, Which Recorded EGP 8.35 Bn during The End Of The Same Period.
