EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 39.668 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during July 24 2024, the index reached 39.668 points, compared to 39.659 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 4 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it rose against UAE dirham, pound sterling, Euro, US dollar, It settled against Saudi riyal, Chinese Yuan, and fell against Japanese Yen.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt fell from EGP 48.41 to EGP 48.39 while the average buying decreased from EGP 48.31 to EGP 48.29 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt declined from EGP 52.61 to EGP52.48 while the average buying fell from EGP 52.48 to EGP 52.35 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 62.50 to EGP 62.47 while the average buying fell from EGP 62.35 to EGP 62.32 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt fell from EGP 13.18 to EGP13.17 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.15 to EGP 13.14 at the end of today's trading

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 6.65 while the average buying decreased from EGP 6.64 to EGP 6.63 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal settled at EGP 12.90 while the average buying declined from EGP 12.88 to EGP 12.87 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 31.01 to EGP 31.35 while the average buying increased from EGP 30.93 to EGP 31.28 at the end of today's trading.
