EGP index declined against a basket of major currencies to 39.397 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during August 1 2024, the index reached 39.397 points, compared to 39.421 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index Fell against 4 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar, and Japanese Yen it rose against Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 48.62 to EGP 48.73 while the average buying increased from EGP 48.52 to EGP 48.63 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 32.34 to EGP 32.41 while the average buying increased from EGP 32.28 to EGP 32.34 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal rose from EGP 12.96 to EGP 12.98 while the average buying rose from EGP 12.93 at EGP 12.96 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP 13.23 at EGP 13.26 at the end of today's trading while the average buying rose from EGP 13.21 at EGP 13.24.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt fell from EGP 52.69 to EGP52.60 while the average buying rose from EGP 52.58 to EGP 52.49 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 62.46 to EGP 62.22 while the average buying declined from EGP 62.33 to EGP 62.08 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP6.73 EGP 6.72 while the average buying settled at EGP 6.71 at the end of today's trading.
