EGP index declined against a basket of major currencies to 39.131 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during August 4 2024, the index reached 39.131 points, compared to 39.398 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index Fell against all currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar, Japanese Yen, Euro, pound sterling, and Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 48.73 to EGP 48.83 while the average buying increased from EGP 48.63 to EGP 48.73 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 52.60 to EGP53.27 while the average buying rose from EGP 52.49 to EGP 53.15 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 62.22 to EGP 62.50 while the average buying declined from EGP 62.08 to EGP 62.36 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 32.41 to EGP 33.32 while the average buying increased from EGP 32.34 to EGP 33.25 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 6.72 to EGP 6.82 while the average buying increased from EGP 6.71 to EGP 6.80 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal rose from EGP 12.98 to EGP 13.01 while the average buying rose from EGP 12.96 at EGP 12.98 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP 13.26 at EGP 13.29 at the end of today's trading while the average buying rose from EGP 13.24 at EGP 13.26.
