EGP index declined against a basket of major currencies to 38.672 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during August 5 2024, the index reached 38.672 points, compared to 39.131 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index Fell against all currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar, Japanese Yen, Euro, pound sterling, and Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 48.83 to EGP 49.30 while the average buying increased from EGP 48.73 to EGP 49.20 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 53.27 to EGP53.99 while the average buying rose from EGP 53.15 to EGP 53.87 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 62.50 to EGP 62.86 while the average buying declined from EGP 62.36 to EGP 62.70 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 33.32 to EGP 34.54 while the average buying increased from EGP 33.25 to EGP 34.46 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 6.82 to EGP 6.91 while the average buying increased from EGP 6.80 to EGP 6.90 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal rose from EGP 13.01 to EGP 13.13 while the average buying rose from EGP 12.98 to EGP 13.10 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP 13.29 at EGP 13.42 at the end of today's trading while the average buying rose from EGP 13.26 to EGP 13.42.
