According To First Bank List Of Banks Most Focused On Customer Loan Investments By March 2024 End, NBK-Egypt Topped The List With 54.66% Of The Bank's Assets Concentrated In The Net Customer Loan Portfolio Valued At EGP 85.02 Bn, While Its Total Assets Reached EGP 155.55 Bn By The End Of March 2024.
The List Revealed The Investment Trends Of 22 Banks In The Egyptian Banking Sector, Specifically In Terms Of Net Customer Loans, Using The Criterion (Net Customer Loans/Total Assets) To Indicate The Extent Of The Bank's Assets Concentration In The Customer Loan Category.
Returning To The List, Ahli United Bank-Egypt Secured The Second Position, With 54.24% Of The Bank's Total Assets Concentrated In The Net Customer Loans, Which Amounted To EGP 69.02 Bn By The End Of March 2024, While Its Total Assets Reached EGP 127.25 Bn In The Same Period.
Attijariwafa Bank Came Third, With 48.17% Of Its Total Assets Focused On Its Net Customer Loans, Valued At EGP 47.08 Bn, While Its Total Asset Portfolio Amounted To EGP 97.73 Bn By The End Of March 2024.
Ahli Bank Kuwait-Egypt (ABK-Egypt) Claimed The Fourth Position, With 46.06% Of Its Total Assets, Amounting To EGP 115.16 Bn, Concentrated In Its Net Customer Loan Portfolio Valued At EGP 53.05 Bn By The End Of March 2024.
As For The Fifth Position On The List, It Was Claimed By Emeritus NBD-Egypt, After The Bank's Customer Loans Reaching EGP 59.78 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Accounting For 43.53% Of Its Total Assets, Which Amounted To EGP 137.35 Bn By The End Of The Same Period.
EBank, Secured the Sixth Position, With 43.39% Of Its Total Assets Concentrated In Its Net Customer Loans, Totaling EGP 60.96 Bn By The End Of March 2024, While Its Total Assets Amounted To EGP 140.49 Bn In The Same Period.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank-Egypt (ADIB) Secured The Seventh Position On The List, With 42.72% Of Its Total Assets Concentrated In Its Customer Loan Portfolio Valued At EGP 81 Bn By The End Of March 2024, While Its Total Asset Portfolio Reached Approximately EGP 189.60 Bn.
QNB Come In Eight Position On The List, With 41.16% Of Its Total Assets Concentrated In Its Customer Loan Portfolio Valued At EGP 297.24 Bn By The End Of March 2024, While Its Total Asset Portfolio Reached Approximately EGP 722.16 Bn, Credit Agricole Followed Closely With A Concentration Rate Of 39.76% By The End Of The Same Period.
