EGP index declined against a basket of major currencies to 38.885 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during 20 August 2024, the index reached 38.885 points, compared to 38.991 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index decreased against all currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it Fell against Chinese Yuan, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, US dollar, Saudi riyal, Euro and pound sterling.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 48.83 to EGP 48.94 while the average buying increased from EGP 48.73 to EGP 48.81 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 53.89 to EGP 54.19 while the average buying increased from EGP 53.77 to EGP 54.08 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 63.24 to EGP 63.58 while the average buying rose from EGP 63.10 to EGP 63.45 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 33.36 to EGP 33.40 while the average buying increased from EGP 33.29 to EGP 33.33 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 6.83 to EGP 6.84 while the average buying increased from EGP 6.82 to EGP 6.83 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal rose from EGP 13.01 to EGP 13.03 while the average buying increased from EGP 12.98 to EGP 13.00 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP 13.29 to EGP 13.31 while the average buying increased from EGP 13.26 to EGP 13.28 at the end of today's trading.
