EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 38.898 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increaseed against the major currencies during 21 August 2024, the index reached 38.898 points, compared to 38.885 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 3 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it rose against US dollar, Saudi riyal, UAE dirham, and settled against Chinese Yuan, it fell against Japanese Yen, Euro and pound sterling. The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt decreased from EGP 48.91 to EGP 48.83 while the average buying fell from EGP 48.81 to EGP 48.74 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal fell from EGP 13.03 to EGP 13.01 while the average buying decreased from EGP 13.00 to EGP 12.99 at the end of today's trading. The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt decreased from EGP 13.31 to EGP 13.30 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.28 to EGP 13.27 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at  EGP 6.84 while the average buying settled at EGP 6.83 at the end of today's trading. The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 54.19 to EGP 54.27 while the average buying increased from EGP 54.08 to EGP 54.15 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 63.58 to EGP 63.66 while the average buying rose from EGP 63.45 to EGP 63.52 at the end of today's trading. The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 33.40 to EGP 33.44 while the average buying increased from EGP 33.33 to EGP 33.37 at the end of today's trading.
