First Bank List of The Most Efficient Listed Banks In Terms Of Asset Investment (Return On Average Assets), ROA, During H1 of the current Year Revealed Credit Agricole Topping The List With A Rate Of 3.81%, Having Achieved A Net Profit Of EGP 4.20 Bn During H1-2024.
The List, Including 11 Banks Listed On The Egyptian Stock Exchange, Disclosed That All Banks Achieved Positive Return Rates On Average Assets, Attributed To Varying Levels Of Success In Generating Net Profits From January To June 2024 Without Any Reported Losses.
Return On Average Assets Measures Banks’ Efficiency In Investing Their Assets To Achieve Net Profits During The Analyzed Period. The Higher The Return, The More Efficient The Bank Is In Generating Suitable Profit Levels. Returning To The List, HD Bank Secured The Second Position With A Return Rate On Average Assets Of 3.75% During H1 of 2024, Due To Its Net Profit Rising To EGP2.29 Bn During The same period.
Faisal Islamic Bank Claimed The Third Position On The List With A Return Rate On Average Assets Of 3.34% during H1 of the current year, Thanks To The Bank’s Achievement Of A Net Profit Of EGP 6.55 Bn The same period.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) Secured The Fourth Position With A Return On Average Assets Rate Of 2.94%, Having Achieved A Net Profit Of EGP 27.68 Bn During H1 of this year.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt Ranked Fifth, Achieving A Return Rate On Average Assets Of 2.43% During The first quarter of this Year, Recording A Net Profit Of Around EGP 4.49 Bn During The Same Period.
It’s Worth Noting That All Values Used In Calculating Return Rates On Average Assets Are Based On Separate Financial Statements Declared By Each Bank At The End Of June 2024.
