SC Bank, saib, ADCB, and ABK-Egypt Top Fastest-growing banks in Net profits during H1-2024

First Bank Released A List Of The Fastest-Growing Banks In Terms Of Net Profits During The H1 of the current Year. The List Revealed that SC Bank topped the List, Achieving A Growth Rate Of 187.85% In Its Net Profits, Reaching EGP 1.808 bn During H1 of 2024, Compared To EGP 628 mn During H1- 2023.

The List, Which Included 21 Banks in The Egyptian Banking Sector, Analyzed Financial Data Provided By These Banks For The Period. It Showed That All the Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Their Net Profits From January To June 2024.

saib Secured The Second Position After Achieving A Growth Rate Of 163.20% In Its Net Profits, Reaching EGP 987  mn During H1 of 2024, Compared To EGP 375  mn During H1 of 2023. ADCB Claimed The Third Position On The List, With Its Net Profits Jumping By A Growth Rate Of 161.80%, Reaching EGP 2.138 Bn During H1 of 2024, Compared To EGP 817  mn During H1- 2023. Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait - Egypt Secured The Fourth Position, With A Growth Rate Of 154.03%, Recording Net Profits Of EGP 4.315 Bn During H1 of 2024, Compared To EGP 1.699 Bn During H1 of 2023. Faisal Islamic Bank Claimed The Fifth Position With A Growth Rate Of 142.49%, Recording Net Profits Of EGP 6.552 bn During H1 of 2024, Compared To EGP 2.702 bn During H1 of 2023. AAIB Achieved the Sixth Position With A Growth Rate Of 128.14%, recording Net Profits Of EGP 7.490  bn during H1 of 2024, Compared To EGP 3.283 bn During H1 of 2023, followed by Banque du Caire With A Growth Rate Of 120.11% during the same period of the current year. 

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank- Egypt Secured The Seventh Position, With A Growth Rate Of 115.18%, Recording Net Profits Of EGP 4.492 bn During H1 of 2024, Compared To EGP 2.088 bn During H1 of 2023. ALEXBANK Ranked Ninth With A Growth Rate Of 115%, Recording Net Profits Of EGP 5.084 Bn During H1 of 2024, Compared To EGP 2.365 bn During H1 of 2023.  aiBank Came Tenth, With A Growth Rate Of 100.26%, After Achieving Net Profits Of EGP 901.56 mn During H1 Of 2024, Compared To EGP 450.19 Mn During H1 Of 2023, Followed By CIB With A Growth Rate Of 95.73%, During The Same Period. It Is Worth Noting That All The Mentioned Values And Growth Rates Are Based On the Announced Financial Statements Of Each Bank At The End Of June 2024.
