EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 38.957 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during 18 September 2024, the index reached 38.957 points, compared to 39.056 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 6 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against US dollar, Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal and rose against Japanese Yen.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 48.46 to EGP 48.60 while the average buying increased from EGP 48.36 to EGP 48.50 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 53.95 to EGP 54.08 while the average buying rose from EGP 53.83 to EGP 53.96 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt rose from EGP 64.01 to EGP 64.22 while the average buying increased from EGP 63.88 to EGP 64.08 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 6.83 to EGP 6.86 while the average buying increased from EGP 6.81 to EGP 6.84 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt increased from EGP 13.19 to EGP 13.23 while the average buying rose from EGP 13.16 to EGP 13.20 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal rose from EGP 12.91 to EGP 12.95 while the average buying increased from EGP 12.88 to EGP 12.92 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 34.45 to EGP 34.30 while the average buying fell from EGP 34.38 to EGP 34.23 at the end of today's trading.
