EBank's retail loans grow by 23.5%, reaching EGP 9.5 bn during H1-2024

The separate financial statements of EBank, for the period ending on June 30 of the current year, have revealed a growth in the bank's portfolio of retail loans by a rate of 23.52% during H1- 2024, amounting to an increase of EGP 1.81 bn.
The size of the bank's portfolio of retail loans reached EGP 9.53 bn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP 7.71 bn by the end of December 2023.
Contributing to this growth, the size of personal loans rose by 28.28% to record EGP8.12bn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP 6.33bn by the end of December 2023.
The bank's portfolio of Mortgage loans increased by 17%, with an increase of EGP142.2mn, to record EGP 979.73mn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP 837.56mn by the end of December 2023.
The size of bank's credit cards increased by 19.63%, with an increase of EGP 33.32 mn during the first 6 months of 2024, moving from EGP 169.73 mn by the end of December 2023, to reach EGP 203.06mn by the end of June 2024. In addition, the Bank's debit current accounts portfolio reaching EGP 222.52mn by the end of June 2024.
It is worth noting that the total customer loan portfolio rose by 14.84% and an increase of EGP 8.10 bn during the first half of the current year, reaching EGP 62.72bn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP 54.42bn by the end of December 2023.
