FirstBank List Of The Fastest-Growing Banks In Retail Deposits Revealed That saib Topped The List With A Growth Rate Of 42.90% During The first half of the current year. Its Portfolio Size Increased To EGP 34.81 Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP 24.36 Bn At The End Of December 2023.

The List Tracked the Size Of Retail Deposits Portfolios At 22 Banks Operating In The Egyptian Banking Sector, For Which Financial Data Was Available For Analysis. It Showed That All Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Their Retail Deposits Portfolios, From January To June 2024.

Returning To The List, AAIB Secured The Second Position After Its Retail Deposits Portfolio Grew By 36.60% during The first half of the current year, Reaching A Total Portfolio Size Of Around EGP 226.04Bn By The End Of June 2024, Up From EGP 165.48 Bn At The End Of December 2023.

As For The Third Position, It Was Claimed By CIB After Achieving A Growth Rate Of 32.44% In Its Retail Deposits Portfolio During The first half of the current year. Its Value Stood At EGP 488.80 Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP 369.37 Bn At The End Of December 2023.

ABK-Egypt Secured The Fourth Position With A Growth Rate Of 32.04% During The first half of the current year, As Its Retail Deposits Portfolio Increased To EGP 28.35 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Up From EGP21.47 Bn At The End Of December 2023.

ADCB Egypt Secured The Fifth Position After Achieving A Growth Rate Of 31.59% In Its Retail Deposits Portfolio During The first half of the current year, Recording A Value Of EGP 18.83 Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP 14.31 Bn At The End Of December 2023.

AL Baraka Bank Come In Sixth Place After Achieving A Growth Rate Of 30.42% In Its Retail Deposits Portfolio during The first half of the current year, Recording A Value Of EGP 54.35 Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP 41.67 Bn At The End Of December 2023.

BANK NXT Come In Seventh Place After Achieving A Growth Rate Of 29% In Its Total Retail Deposits Portfolio During The first half of the current year, With A Value Of EGP 19.52 Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP 15.13 Bn At The End Of December 2023.

Emirates NBD Egypt Came In Eight Place With A Growth Rate Of 28.95% during The first half of the current year, Recording An Retail Deposits Portfolio Of EGP 39.12 Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP 30.34Bn At The End Of December 2023, It Was Followed By Faisal Bank With A Growth Rate Of 28% During The Same Period.

Credit Agricole Bank Come In Tenth Place After Achieving A Growth Rate Of 27.21% In Its Retail Deposits Portfolio during The first half of the current year, Recording A Value Of EGP 31.28 Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP24.59Bn At The End Of December 2023.

It's Worth Noting That All The Values And Growth Rates Mentioned In The Analysis Above Are Based On Separate Financial Statements Announced By Each Bank As Of The End Of June 2024.
