Faisal Islamic tops Bank First Bank list of most focused listed banks in financial investments and treasury billsduring the first 9 months of 2022. The bank’s financial investments captured highest relative of weight of its total assets to stand at 63.18%.
Faisal Islamic Bank’s financial investments recorded EGP 89.5 billion by the end of September 2022, while total assets recorded EGP 141.7 billion during the same period.

The First Bank conducted a list for listed banks most focused financial investments and treasury bills. The list measures total financial investments and treasury bills to total assets ratio to give an indication to the extent of the bank's assets concentration into financial investments.
Commercial International Bank – CIB ranked second on the list after its total financial investments acquired a relative weight of 44.44% of the bank’s total assets, as total financial investments amounted to EGP262.4 billion, while total assets recorded about EGP 590.4 billion by the end of September 2022.
EGBANK came in third place, after 40.58% of the bank's total assets were concentrated in total financial investments by 9M-22. Its total financial investments recorded about EGP 35.1 billion, and the total value of the bank's assets amounted to about EGP 86.4 billion.
Al Baraka Bank Egypt was in fourth place as 35.85% of the bank's total assets were concentrated in total financial investments. Its total financial investments recorded EGP 30.5 billion pounds by the end of September 2022, while its assets portfolio amounted to about EGP 85 billion by the end of the same period.
Moreover, The Housing and Development Bank ranked fifth after the financial investments accounted for 34.20% of the bank's total assets. The financial investments amounted to EGP 35 billion, while total assets recorded EGP 102.3 billion by the end of September 2022.
