EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 39.121 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during 17 November 2024, the index reached 39.121 points, compared to 39.149 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 3 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against  Euro, Japanese Yen, Chinese Yuan, and settled against US dollar, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, and it rose against pound sterling.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 52.04 to EGP 52.10 while the average buying rose from EGP 51.93 to EGP 51.99 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 31.69 to EGP 32.02 while the average buying increased from EGP 31.62 to EGP 31.95 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 6.82 to EGP 6.83 while the average increased from EGP 6.80 to EGP 6.81 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 49.42 while the average buying settled at EGP 49.32 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 13.45 while the average buying settled at EGP 13.42 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal increased settled at EGP 13.16 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.13 to EGP 13.12 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 62.55 to EGP 62.38 while the average buying fell from EGP 62.42 to EGP 62.23 at the end of today's trading.
