ADCB-Egypt’s total customer loans jump by 242% and more than EGP32 bn in 4 years

ADCB-Egypt managed to achieve significant growth in its total portfolio of loans at 162.2% over the last 4 years, reaching EGP 45.59 bn by the end of September 2024, compared to EGP 13.34 bn by the end of December 2019, with an increase of EGP 32.24 bn.

Tracking its journey over the period under analysis, the portfolio's highest growth rate in 2022 is 40.88% and an increase of EGP 9.11 bn on an annual basis, reaching EGP 31.40 bn by the end of December 2022, compared to 22.29 bn by the end of December 2021.

The second highest growth rate in the portfolio in 2020 was 30.30% year-on-year, after the Bank's total customer loans jumped by EGP 4.04 bn, registering EGP 17.39 bn by the end of December 2020, compared to 13.31 bn by the end of December 2019.

As for the growth of the portfolio this year, it jumped by 20.63% and an increase of about EGP 7.80 bn during the first 9 months of this year, reaching EGP 45.59 bn by the end of September 2024, compared to 37.79 bn by the end of December 2023

Overall, the Bank's net profit jumped by a growth rate of 157% and an increase of EGP 2.05 bn, reaching EGP 3.36 bn during the first 9 months of 2024, compared to EGP 1.31 bn during the same period in 2023.

The Bank's assets portfolio rose by 40.72% during the first 9 months of this year, registering EGP 138 bn by the end of September 2024, compared to 98.06 bn by the end of December 2023, with an increase of EGP 39.93 bn

ADCB’s Customer Deposit Portfolio jumped at a growth rate of 37.07% and an increase of EGP 32.12 bn during the first 9 months of this year, to register EGP 118.75 bn by the end of September 2024, compared to 86.64 bn by the end of December 2023
