ADCB-Egypt’s Retail deposits grow by 31.6% during H1-2024, recording EGP 18.8 bn

ADCB-Egypt's separate financial statements ended 30 June, revealed an increase in the retail deposit portfolio at a growth rate of 31.59% and an increase of EGP 4.52 bn during the first half of 2024. The size of the bank's retail deposit portfolio was about EGP 18.83 bn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP14.31bn by the end of December 2023.
The total corporate deposit portfolio increased by 10.73% and increase of EGP 7.76 bn during the first half of this year, reaching EGP 80.08 bn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP72.32bn by the end of December 2023.
The Bank's total deposit portfolio increased by 14.18% and an increase of EGP 12.28 bn during the first half of this year, registering EGP 98.92 bn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP86.64 bn by the end of December 2023.
The demand deposits increased with a growth rate of 28.03% and an increase of EGP 5.51 bn during the first half of this year, recording EGP 25.15 bn by the end of June 2024, compared to egp19.64 bn by the end of December 2023.
The portfolio of Time Deposits rose at a growth rate of 9.82% and an increase of EGP 5.45 bn during the first 6 months of this year, registering EGP 60.97 bn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP55.52 bn by the end of December 2023.
Saving deposits portfolio surged by 13.96% and an increase of EGP 1.32 bn during the first half of this year, registering EGP 10.76 bn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP9.44 bn by the end of December 2023.
The saving deposits and certificates deposits portfolio rose by 16.73% during the first half of this year and an increase of EGP 185 mn, reaching EGP 1.29 bn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP1.11 bn by the end of December 2023.
