EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 38.144 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during December, the index reached 38.144 points, compared to 38.248 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 7 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, US dollar, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the US Dollar in Egypt decreased from EGP 50.50 to EGP 50.70 while the average buying fell from EGP 50.40 to EGP 50.60 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling rate of Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 53.17 to EGP 53.25 while the average buying fell from EGP53.06 to EGP 53.14 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the pound sterling in Egypt fell from EGP 64.41 to EGP64.56 while the average decreased from EGP 64.25 to EGP 64.43 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 33.30 to EGP33.20 while the average buying increased from EGP 33.23 to EGP 33.13 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 6.91 to EGP 6.95 while the average buying increased from EGP 6.90 to EGP 6.94 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt increased from EGP 13.38 to EGP13.46 while the average buying rose from EGP 13.35 to EGP 13.43 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham rose from EGP 13.69 to EGP 13.76 while the average buying increased from EGP 13.66 to EGP 13.73 at the end of today's trading.
