EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 39.565 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies durin,5 February 2025, the index reached 39.565 points, compared to 38.691 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 7 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, US dollar, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the US Dollar in Egypt increased  from EGP 50.35 to EGP 50.36 while the average buying rose from EGP 50.25 to EGP 50.26 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling rate of Euro in Egypt increased  from EGP 51.99 to EGP 52.46 while the average buying rose from EGP 51.88 to EGP 52.35 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the pound sterling in Egypt rose from EGP 62.48 to EGP 63.13 while the average increased from EGP 62.32 to EGP 63.00 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 32.42 to EGP 32.94 while the average buying rose from EGP 32.35 to EGP 32.87 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of Chinese yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP 6.94 to EGP 6.92 while the average buying  fell from  EGP 6.93 to EGP 6.91 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt setteled at  EGP 13.42 while the average buying rose from EGP 13.39 to EGP 13.40 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham setteled at  EGP 13.71 while the average buying setteled at  EGP 13.68 at the end of today's trading.
