EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 38.845 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during 20 November 2024, the index reached 38.845 points, compared to 38.978 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 6 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against US dollar, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, and rose against Japanese Yen.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 49.58 to EGP 49.78 while the average buying increased from EGP 49.48 to EGP 49.68 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 52.38 to EGP 52.54 while the average buying rose from EGP 52.27 to EGP 52.43 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 62.66 to EGP 63.08 while the average buying rose from EGP 62.51 to EGP 62.93 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt increased from EGP 13.50 to EGP 13.55 while the average buying rose from EGP 13.47 to EGP 13.52 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal increased from EGP 13.20 to EGP 13.26 while the average buying rose from EGP 13.18 to EGP 13.26 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 6.84 to EGP 6.87 while the average increased from EGP 6.83 to EGP 6.85 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 32.18 to EGP 31.95 while the average buying decreased from EGP 32.11 to EGP 31.88 at the end of today's trading.
