Bank ABC's corporate Sector Achieves Record Performance in 2024

Bank ABC's corporate sector has undergone record performance over the past year. This growth has not only increased the volume of targeted loans, but also extended to strengthening corporate deposits, which have seen strong growth reflecting the growing level of confidence of companies and corporates in the services provided by the bank.
This positive development reflects the efficiency of the strategies adopted by Bank ABC and its effective responsiveness to clients' needs, both in terms of innovative financial solutions and in terms of supporting the cash liquidity of organizations of various sizes and sectors.
Bank ABC boosted its corporate loans (including microcredit for economic activities) over the past year, jumping by 47.79%, to 27.79 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared with 18.8 billion pounds by the end of 2023, an overall increase of 8.98 billion pounds.
This strong performance was driven mainly by an increase in direct loan balances for corporates that rose to 21.89 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared to 13.3 billion pounds by the end of 2023, a growth of 64.63%, and an increase of 8.59 billion pounds.
The portfolio of syndicated loans rose by 35.17% over the past year, registering 2.12 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared with 1.57 billion pounds by the end of 2023.
Bank ABC sector contributed 84.8% to the bank's total portfolio of loans to clients, which jumped to 32.76 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared to 23.31 billion pounds by the end of 2023, an increase of 9.46 billion pounds.
ABC Bank's corporate deposit portfolio recorded record growth over the past year, rising by 16.75%, to 51.74 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared with 44.32 billion pounds by the end of 2023, an overall increase of 7.42 billion pounds.
Corporates sector accounted for 74.77% of the bank's total deposit portfolio, after ABC's customer deposits increased to 69.20 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared to 57.77 billion pounds by the end of 2023, a growth of 19.78% and an increase of 11.43 billion pounds.
