EGBANK, SC Bank and KFH-Egypt Fastest-Growing Banks in Personal Loans During H1-2025

EGBANK tops the list of the fastest-growing banks in Personal loans with a growth rate of 49.7%, while SC Bank secured second place with 36.7%.

KFH-Egypt ranked third with a growth rate of 33.3%, followed by ADIB-Egypt and BANK NXT t in fourth and fifth places with 30.8% and 25.8%, respectively, during the first half of 2025.

saib, Emirates NBD, and AAIB were also among the top 10 fastest-growing banks in Personal loans, with growth rates of 25.6%, 22.9%, and 21.2%, respectively.

First Bank’s list of the fastest-growing banks in Personal loans during the first half of 2025 revealed that EGBANK topped the ranking with a growth rate of 49.7%, Its Personal loans rose to EGP 19.51 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 13.04 billion at the end of 2024.

The list monitored the personal loans of 23 banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector, based on available financial data. Results showed that all banks recorded positive growth in Personal loans during the first half of 2025.

Suez Canal Bank came in second place, as its Personal loans increased by 36.7% to reach EGP 7.27 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 5.32 billion at the end of 2024.

Kuwait Finance House-Egypt «KFH-Egypt» secured third place, recording growth of 33.3% to EGP 5.67 billion, up from EGP 4.25 billion at the end of 2024.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank-Egypt «ADIB-Egypt» ranked fourth with 30.8% growth, as Personal loans rose to EGP 33.71 billion by June 2025, compared to EGP 25.77 billion at the end of 2024.

BANK NXT followed in fifth place with a 25.8% increase, bringing its Personal loans to EGP 10.14 billion, compared to EGP 8.06 billion at the end of 2024.

Saib Bank came sixth, with Personal loans up 25.6% to EGP 21.07 billion, versus EGP 16.77 billion in December 2024.

Emirates NBD-Egypt took seventh place, recording 22.9% growth to EGP 16.86 billion, compared to EGP 13.71 billion previously.

Arab African International Bank «AAIB» followed in eighth place, as Personal loans rose by 21.2% to EGP 10.99 billion by June 2025, against EGP 9.06 billion at the end of 2024.

In ninth place, First Abu Dhabi Bank-Egypt «FABMISR» recorded 19% growth, with Personal loans climbing to EGP 17.91 billion from EGP 15.05 billion.

Finally, Al Baraka Bank ranked tenth, as Personal loans grew 17.8% to EGP 14.35 billion by June 2025, compared to EGP 12.18 billion at the end of 2024.

It is worth noting that all values and growth rates mentioned above are based on the independent financial statements released by each bank at the end of June 2025.
