«Prime» and «Beltone» Top the List of Fastest-Growing Investment Banks in Net Profit During H1-2025

First Bank’s ranking of the fastest-growing investment banks listed on the Egyptian Exchange in terms of net profit during the first half of 2025 revealed that Prime Holding for Financial Investments topped the list with a growth rate of 183.6%, as its net profit rose to EGP 38.55 million in H1-2025, compared to EGP 13.59 million in H1-2024.

The ranking, which included six investment banks listed on the Egyptian Exchange for which the necessary financial data was available, showed that only two banks achieved positive growth in net profits during H1-2025, while four banks recorded significant declines.

Returning to the ranking, Beltone Holding secured second place with a growth rate of 56.5% in the first half of the year, as its net profit increased to EGP 1.39 billion, compared to EGP 888.16 million in the same period of 2024.

EFG Holding came in third, after its net profit declined by 9.7% in the first half of 2025, reaching EGP 2.86 billion, compared to EGP 3.17 billion in H1-2024.

ODIN Investments ranked fourth, posting a decline of 19.1% in H1-2025, with net profit amounting to EGP 116.09 million, compared to EGP 143.53 million in the same period of 2024.

CI Capital Holding for Financial Investments took fifth place, after its net profit dropped by 47% in H1-2025, recording EGP 699.29 million, compared to EGP 1.32 billion in H1-2024.

As for the sixth and final place, it was claimed by Naeem Holding for Investments, which reported a sharp decline of 4032.7% in H1-2025, shifting to a net loss of EGP 2.21 billion, compared to a net profit of EGP 56.34 million in the first six months of 2024.

It is worth noting that all figures and growth rates mentioned above are based on the consolidated financial statements published by each investment bank as of June 2025.
