ADIB – Egypt, Suez Canal Bank, and EGBANK the Fastest-Growing Listed Banks in Customer Loans During 9M-2025

First Bank list of banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange with the fastest growth in total customer loans during 9M 2025 revealed that Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt topped the list, as its total portfolio increased by about 39.1% during the first 9M of this year, recording EGP 142.95 Bn by the end of September 2025, compared to EGP 102.74 Bn by the end of 2024.
The list, which included all 12 banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, revealed that they all achieved positive growth rates in their clients’ total loan portfolios during 9M 2025.
Returning to the list, Suez Canal Bank secured the second position, after its total customer loans rose by about 38.5% during the first 9 months of the year, recording EGP 109.61 Bn by the end of September 2025, compared to EGP 79.17 Bn by the end of 2024.
EGBANK took the third position, as its total customer loans increased by about 32.6% during the first 9M of the current year, reaching EGP 63.70 Bn by the end of September 2025, compared to EGP 48.03 Bn by the end of 2024.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) came in fourth place, as its customer loan portfolio climbed by about 26.2% during 9M 2025, reaching EGP 491.48 Bn by the end of September 2025, compared to EGP 389.57 Bn by the end of 2024.
As for the fifth position, it went to QNB - Egypt, after its total customer loans jumped by about 24.6% during the first 9M of the current year, amounting to EGP 455.08 Bn by the end of September 2025, compared to EGP 365.29 Bn by the end of 2024.
It is worth noting that all values and growth rates mentioned in the above analysis are in accordance with the independent financial statements announced for each bank at the end of September 2025.
