EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 39.905 points at today's trading

The Egyptian Pound index fell against major currencies at the end of trading on tuesday 10 February 2026, where the value of the index fell to 39,905 points at the end of today's trading, compared to 39,932 points at the end of yesterday’s trading on monday.
The decline of the Pound index came as a result of its fell against the euro, the Japanese yen, and the pound sterling, and its stability the Chinese yuan, while it rise against the US dollar, the UAE dirham, and the Saudi riyal at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the euro rose from EGP 55.76 to EGP 55.87 at the end of today's trading, and the average purchase price rose from EGP 55.63 to EGP 55.74 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Japanese yen also rose from EGP 29.99 to EGP 30.23 and the average purchase price rose from EGP 29.92 to EGP 30.17 at the end of today’s trading.
The average selling price of the pound sterling rose from EGP 64.09 to EGP 64.21 at the end of today's trading, while the average purchase price rose from EGP 63.94 to EGP 64.03 .
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan stabilized EGP 6.78 at the end of today's trading, and the average purchase price rose from EGP 6.76 to 6.77 .
The average selling price of the US dollar fell from EGP 46.94 to EGP 46.91 at the end of today's trading, and the average purchase price fell from EGP 46.84 to EGP 46.81 at the end of the day's trading.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal fell from EGP 12.51 to EGP 12.50 at the end of today’s trading, and the average purchase price fell from EGP 12.49 to EGP 12.48 at the end of today’s trading.
While the average selling price of the UAE dirham fell from EGP 12.78 to EGP 12.77 at the end of today’s trading, while the purchase price in Egypt fell from EGP 12.75 to EGP 12.74 by the close of trading.
