EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 39.977 points at today's trading

The Egyptian Pound index rose against major currencies at the end of trading on sunday 15 February 2026, where the value of the index fell to 39,977 points at the end of today's trading, compared to 39,936 points at the end of yesterday’s trading on thursday.
The rise of the Pound index came as a result of its rose against the US dollar, the euro, the pound sterling, the UAE dirham, the Saudi riyal, the Chinese yuan, while its fell against the Japanese yen at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the US dollar fell from EGP 46.87 to EGP 46.82 at the end of today's trading, and the average purchase price fell from EGP 46.77 to EGP 46.72 .
The average selling price of the euro fell from EGP 55.69 to EGP 55.58 at the end of today's trading, and the average purchase price fell from EGP 55.57 to EGP 55.45 .
The average selling price of the pound sterling fell from EGP 63.97 to EGP 63.92 at the end of today's trading, while the average purchase price fell from EGP 63.82 to EGP 63.77 by the close of trading.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal fell from EGP 12.49 to EGP 12.48 at the end of today’s trading, while the average purchase price fell from EGP 12.47 to EGP 12.45 .
the average selling price of the UAE dirham fell from EGP 12.76 to EGP 12.75 at the end of today’s trading, while the purchase price in Egypt fell from EGP 12.73 to EGP 12.72 .
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan fell from EGP 6.79 to EGP 6.77 at the end of today's trading, and the average purchase price fell from EGP 6.77 to EGP 6.76 .
While the average selling price of the Japanese yen rose from EGP 30.55 to EGP 30.67 and the average purchase price rose from EGP 30.48 to EGP 30.59 at the end of today’s trading.
