EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 39.995 points at today's trading

The Egyptian Pound index increase against major currencies at the end of trading on monday 16 February 2026, where the value of the index rose to 39,995 points at the end of today's trading, compared to 39,977 points at the end of yesterday’s trading on sunday.
The rise of the Pound index came as a result of its rose against the euro, the pound sterling, the Japanese yen, while its stability against the US dollar, the UAE dirham, the Saudi riyal, the Chinese yuan at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the euro fell from EGP 55.58 to EGP 55.52 at the end of today's trading, and the average purchase price fell from EGP 55.45 to EGP 55.39 by the close of trading.
The average selling price of the pound sterling fell from EGP 63.92 to EGP 63.90 at the end of today's trading, while the average purchase price fell from EGP 63.77 to EGP 63.75
While the average selling price of the Japanese yen fell from EGP 30.67 to EGP 30.54 and the average purchase price fell from EGP 30.59 to EGP 30.46 .
While the average selling price of the US dollar stabilized at EGP 46.82 at the end of today's trading, and the average purchase price stabilized at EGP 46.72 .
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal stabilized at EGP 12.48 at the end of today’s trading, while the average purchase price stabilized at EGP 12.45 .
the average selling price of the UAE dirham stabilized at EGP 12.75 at the end of today’s trading, while the purchase price in Egypt stabilized at EGP 12.72 .
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan stabilized at EGP 6.77 at the end of today's trading, and the average purchase price stabilized at EGP 6.76 at the end of today’s trading.
