«EBank», Suez Canal Bank, and «ADCB» are the banks most concentrated in corporate deposits by the end of September 2025

«EBank» tops the list, followed by Suez Canal Bank in second place.
The private sector dominates the ranking, with 9 private banks among the top 10 compared to a single position for public sector banks.
Foreign banking groups maintain a strong presence, securing 7 spots among the top ten.
Banks listed on the stock exchange hold 4 positions among the top 10 banks most concentrated in corporate deposits.
The «First Bank» list of the banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector most concentrated in corporate deposits by the end of September 2025 revealed that the Export Development Bank of Egypt «EBank» topped the ranking, with a concentration ratio of 85.32%, after its corporate deposits portfolio reached EGP 124.84 bn, while its total customer deposits stood at EGP 146.33 bn by the end of September 2025.
Suez Canal Bank ranked second, with a concentration ratio of 82.53%, as its corporate deposits portfolio reached EGP 148.30 bn, while its total customer deposits stood at EGP 179.69 bn by the end of September 2025.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank – Egypt «ADCB» secured third place, with a concentration ratio of 80.19%, after its corporate deposits portfolio reached about EGP 111.93 bn, while its total customer deposits stood at around EGP 139.59 bn by the end of September 2025.
The list tracks banks’ approaches in structuring their deposit portfolios across 27 banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector for which financial data were available during the analysis period, specifically in terms of the diversity of certificates and products offered to attract more customers. The ranking relies on the metric (Corporate Deposits / Total Deposits) to provide an indicator of how concentrated a bank’s deposit portfolio is in corporate deposits, according to the independent financial statements published by each bank.
The list also revealed the dominance of the private sector in the leading positions, with private banks capturing 9 spots among the top ten, including: Suez Canal Bank, «ADCB», «EGBANK», «FABMISR», «Kuwait Finance House – Egypt», «ABC», «ABK – Egypt», «Attijariwafa», and «Crédit Agricole».
It also highlighted the strong presence of foreign banking groups operating in Egypt, capturing 7 spots among the top ten banks most concentrated in corporate deposits, namely: «ADCB», «FABMISR», «Kuwait Finance House – Egypt», «ABC», «ABK – Egypt», «Attijariwafa», and «Crédit Agricole».
As for banks listed on the Egyptian Exchange, they secured 4 positions among the top ten: «EBank», Suez Canal Bank, «EGBANK», and «Crédit Agricole».
