CBE offers 4 types of T-bills valued at EGP78.5 bn
The Central Bank of Egypt announced today the issuance of treasury bills of various types, with a total value of 78.5 billion pounds, to finance the state budget deficit.
The Bank revealed the issuance of T-bills in 182 days and 364 days category, with a deadline for submission on Thursday, February 2, 2023. The value of issuing T-bills in the category of “182 days” reached EGP20.5 billion and the value of the second issuance of T-bills in the “364 days” category reached EGP23 billion
On its official website, the Bank indicated another issuance of T-bills in the categories of 91 days and 273 days, provided that the deadline for submission is February 5, 2023, next Sunday.
The value of issuing T-bills in 91 days category reached EGP 13.5 billion, while the value of issuing T-bills in 273 days category reached EGP21.5 billion.
