EGP index declines to 54.780 points at the end of Wednesday’s trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against 7 currencies during Wednesday 1, February 2023. The index reached 54.780 points, compared to 55.001 points at Tuesday trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against 7 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound

It fell against the, Saudi Riyal , Japanese Yen, Pound Sterling, The UAE Dirham, Chinese Yuan, Euro ,US Dollar.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt increased from EGP 30.21 to EGP30.23 while the buying price increased from EGP 30.11 to EGP 30.13

The average Euro selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 32.74 to EGP 32.93 at the end of Wednesday trading, while the average buying rate increase from EGP 32.62 to EGP 32.82

The average Pound Sterling selling rate in Egypt increases from EGP 37.23 to EGP 37.26 at the end of Wednesday trading, while the average buying rate increase from EGP 37.11 to EGP 37.12

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 23.16 to EGP23.30 while the buying price increased from EGP 23.09 to EGP 23.22

The average rate of the Chinese yuan increased in Egypt from EGP 4.47 to EGP 4.48 for selling while the buying price increased from EGP 4.45 to EGP 4.46 at the end of Wednesday

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt increased from EGP 8.04 EGP8.05 while the buying price increased from EGP 8.02 to EGP 8.03

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt increased from EGP 8.22 to EGP8.23 while the buying price increased from EGP 8.19 to EGP 8.20 at the end of Wednesday
