Performance of Listed Banking Stocks at the Close of Today's Trading Session

Trading data from today's session on the Egyptian Exchange showed positive performance across the majority of listed banking stocks, with 11 banking stocks closing higher, while only one stock ended the session lower.
Al Baraka Bank topped the list of gainers after its share price advanced 4.08% to close at 22.72 EGP, compared with 21.83 EGP at the opening of the session.
The United Bank ranked second among the top-performing banking stocks, rising 2.44% to close at 14.25 EGP, up from 13.91 EGP at the open. It was followed by Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (EGP-denominated shares), which gained 2.32% to close at 37.96 EGP, compared with 37.10 EGP at the beginning of trading.
Egyptian Gulf Bank climbed 1.43% to close at 0.495 USD, versus 0.488 USD at the opening. QNB Egypt followed with a 1.06% increase, closing at 56.12 EGP, compared with 55.53 EGP at the start of the session.
Crédit Agricole Egypt advanced 0.62% to close at 24.45 EGP, up from 24.30 EGP at the opening, while ADIB Egypt gained 0.50%, ending the session at 52.08 EGP, compared with 51.82 EGP at the open.
Housing & Development Bank rose 0.46% to close at 84.39 EGP, versus 84.00 EGP at the opening. It was followed by Suez Canal Bank, whose share price increased 0.26% to close at 38.54 EGP, compared with 38.44 EGP at the beginning of trading.
Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (USD-denominated shares) remained unchanged, closing at 0.979 USD, the same level as its opening price.
On the downside, Commercial International Bank declined 0.77% to close at 139.15 EGP, compared with 140.23 EGP at the opening of the session. Export Development Bank of Egypt also retreated 0.97%, closing at 20.50 EGP, down from 20.70 EGP at the start of trading.
