Performance of Listed Banking Stocks at the Close of Today's Trading Session

Trading data from today's session on the Egyptian Exchange showed positive performance across the majority of listed banking stocks, with eight stocks closing higher, compared with two stocks that declined and two that remained unchanged.
Suez Canal Bank topped the list of gainers, advancing 5.54% to close at 40.94 EGP, compared with 38.79 EGP at the opening of the session.
Egyptian Gulf Bank ranked second among the top-performing banking stocks, rising 5.3% to close at 0.576 USD, versus 0.547 USD at the open. It was followed by Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (EGP-denominated shares), which gained 2.76% to close at 39.42 EGP, compared with 38.36 EGP at the beginning of trading.
ADIB Egypt rose 2.64% to close at 39.42 EGP, compared with 38.36 EGP at the opening, followed by Export Development Bank of Egypt, which increased 1.22% to close at 20.75 EGP, versus 20.50 EGP at the start of the session.
Commercial International Bank gained 0.26% to close at 140.50 EGP, compared with 140.13 EGP at the opening. It was followed by QNB Egypt, whose share price edged up 0.04% to close at 56.09 EGP, versus 56.07 EGP at the open.
The United Bank remained unchanged at 14.10 EGP at the end of today's session, maintaining its opening price. Crédit Agricole Egypt also remained unchanged at 24.50 EGP.
On the downside, Al Baraka Bank Egypt declined 0.31% to close at 22.38 EGP, compared with 22.45 EGP at the beginning of trading. It was followed by Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (USD-denominated shares), which fell 0.10% to close at 0.991 USD, compared with 0.992 USD at the opening.
