Performance of Listed Banking Stocks at the Close of Today's Trading Session

Trading data from today's session on the Egyptian Exchange showed negative performance across the majority of listed banking stocks, with 10 stocks closing lower, compared with one stock that advanced and one that remained unchanged.
QNB Egypt was the only gainer, rising 0.11% to close at 56.15 EGP, compared with 56.09 EGP at the opening.
Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (EGP-denominated shares) remained unchanged at 39.42 EGP at the end of today's session.
On the downside, Crédit Agricole Egypt declined 0.04% to close at 24.49 EGP, compared with 24.50 EGP at the opening, followed by Al Baraka Bank Egypt, which fell 0.13% to close at 22.35 EGP, versus 22.38 EGP at the open.
Housing and Development Bank declined 0.34% to close at 85.20 EGP, compared with 85.49 EGP at the opening, followed by Commercial International Bank, which fell 0.36% to close at 140.00 EGP, versus 140.50 EGP at the beginning of trading.
Suez Canal Bank fell 0.46% to close at 40.75 EGP, compared with 40.94 EGP at the opening, followed by The United Bank, which declined 0.57% to 14.02 EGP, compared with 14.10 EGP at the start of the session.
Export Development Bank of Egypt declined 0.63% to close at 20.62 EGP, compared with 20.75 EGP at the opening, followed by Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (USD-denominated shares), which fell 1.11% to close at 0.980 USD, versus 0.991 USD at the open.
ADIB Egypt declined 1.27% to close at 53.71 EGP, compared with 54.40 EGP at the opening, followed by Egyptian Gulf Bank, which recorded the largest decline among the listed banking stocks, falling 1.91% to close at 0.565 USD, compared with 0.576 USD at the beginning of trading.
