Performance of Listed Banking Stocks at the Close of Today's Trading Session

Data from today’s trading session on the Egyptian Stock Exchange revealed a positive performance for the majority of listed bank stocks, with 11 stocks recording gains at the close of trading, compared with a decline in one stock.
Suez Canal Bank topped the list of the best-performing bank stocks, rising 5.79% to close at 42.77 EGP, compared with 40.43 EGP at the opening.
Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (EGP) ranked second, rising 3.45% to close at 40.81 EGP, compared with 39.45 EGP at the beginning of the session. It was followed by Egyptian Gulf Bank, which rose 3.40% to close at 0.548 USD, compared with 0.530 USD at the opening.
Export Development Bank of Egypt rose 2.85% to close at 21.30 EGP, compared with 20.71 EGP at the opening, followed by Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank–Egypt, which gained 1.54% to close at 54.85 EGP, compared with 54.02 EGP at the opening.
Credit Agricole Egypt rose 1.49% to close at 24.46 EGP, compared with 24.10 EGP at the opening, followed by Housing and Development Bank, which gained 1.16% to close at 87.45 EGP, compared with 86.45 EGP at the opening.
Al Baraka Bank Egypt rose 1.12% to close at 23.51 EGP, compared with 23.25 EGP at the opening. The United Bank also gained 1.09%, closing at 14.82 EGP, compared with 14.66 EGP at the opening.
QNB Egypt rose 0.25% to close at 59.15 EGP, compared with 59.00 EGP at the opening, followed by Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (USD), which gained 0.10% to close at 0.981 USD, compared with 0.980 USD at the opening.
On the downside, Commercial International Bank declined 0.51% to close at 139.27 EGP, compared with 139.99 EGP at the beginning of the session.
