Performance of Listed Banking Stocks at the Close of Today's Trading Session

Data from today’s trading session on the Egyptian Stock Exchange revealed a mixed performance among listed bank stocks, with 5 stocks recording gains at the close of trading, compared with declines in 6 stocks and one stock remaining unchanged.
QNB Egypt topped the list of the best-performing bank stocks, rising 4.43% to close at 62.45 EGP, compared with 59.80 EGP at the opening.
Al Baraka Bank Egypt ranked second, rising 1.07% to close at 23.72 EGP, compared with 23.47 EGP at the beginning of the session. It was followed by Credit Agricole Egypt, which ranked third among the top gainers, rising 0.96% to close at 25.14 EGP, compared with 24.90 EGP at the opening.
Housing and Development Bank rose 0.75% to close at 92.65 EGP, compared with 91.96 EGP at the opening, followed by Suez Canal Bank, which gained 0.12% to close at 42.36 EGP, compared with 42.31 EGP at the beginning of the session.
The United Bank remained unchanged, closing at 14.78 EGP, the same as its opening price.
On the downside, Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (USD) declined 0.20% to close at 0.993 USD, compared with 0.991 USD at the opening. Commercial International Bank also fell 0.25% to close at 138.50 EGP, compared with 138.85 EGP at the opening.
Export Development Bank of Egypt declined 0.42% to close at 21.15 EGP, compared with 21.24 EGP at the beginning of the session, followed by Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank–Egypt, which fell 0.76% to close at 54.98 EGP, compared with 55.40 EGP at the opening.
Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (EGP) declined 0.82% to close at 42.56 EGP, compared with 42.91 EGP at the opening, while Egyptian Gulf Bank fell 2.62% to close at 0.52 USD, compared with 0.534 USD at the opening.
