Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Sunday’s closing session

The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Sunday 19 February with decrease in the market cap by 0.55% or EGP 288.303 billion compared to EGP 289.911 billion at the end of last Thursday’s session

The market cap of the banking sector reached 27.55% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange

The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 99.788 million which represents 6.62% of the total trading volume today after 3.308 million shares were exchanged capturing 0.69% of the total trading volume
