Ahli United, ADIB Egypt, Credit Agricole best banks in loans to deposits ratio at 9M
First Bank list of the best banks in terms of loans to deposits ratio during the first 9 months of 2022 revealed that Al Ahli United Bank-Egypt has been on the top of the ranking after its loans to deposits ratio recorded 75.82%.
AUB Egypt’s loan portfolio reached 50.525 billion pounds by the end of Last September, while his deposit portfolio reached 66.643 billion pounds at the end of the same period.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank of Egypt came in second place at a rate of 66.94%; as its loan portfolio recorded 57.435 billion pounds at the end of the third quarter of 2022, while the deposits portfolio recorded 85.803 billion pounds at the end of the same period.
Credit Agricole Bank took third place; its loans to deposits ratio reached 64.77%, its loan portfolio reached 34.794 billion pounds at the end of September 2022, while its deposits portfolio reached 53.719 billion pounds at the end of the same period.
Attijariwafa bank came fourth, with 62.45%; the bank’s loan portfolio recorded EGP 29.671 billion by the end of the third quarter of 2022, while the deposit portfolio recorded EGP 47.514 billion at the end of the same period.
While the fifth place was occupied the Export Development Bank of Egypt, with 61.90%, after its loan portfolio recorded 43.805 billion pounds at the end of September 2022, while its deposit portfolio reached 70.763 billion pounds at the end of the same period.
Emirates NBD came in sixth place, with a rate of 58.76%, after its loan portfolio recorded 45.001 billion pounds, while its deposit portfolio reached 76.578 billion pounds by the end of the third quarter of 2022.
Furthermore, saib Bank came in seventh place, with 57.47%, as its loan portfolio recorded 41.279 billion pounds at the end of September 2022, while its deposit portfolio reached 71.830 billion pounds at the end of the same period.
