Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Monday’s closing session

The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Monday 20 February with decrease in the market cap by 2.66% or EGP 280.641 billion compared to EGP 288.303 billion at the end of Sunday’s session

The market cap of the banking sector reached 27.70% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange

The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 364.418 million which represents 19.48% of the total trading volume today after 8.002 million shares were exchanged capturing 1.76% of the total trading volume

The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with decrease and turnover amounted EGP 51.8 million on shares
