alBaraka Bank, Suez Canal Bank And EBank, Are Fastest Growing Listed Banks In Personal Finance At 2022
alBaraka Bank – Egypt topped First bank list with a growth rate of 98%, after the bank’s total personal loans portfolio jumped to EGP3.7 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP 1.9 bn at the end of December 2021.
Suez Canal Bank occupied second place with a growth rate of 62.70% over the past year, after the bank’s total personal loans portfolio increased from EGP 1.6 bn at the end of December 2021, and recorded EGP 2.6 bn at the end of December 2022.
EBank came third, with a growth rate of 39.67% over the past year, after the bank’s total personal loans portfolio increased to 3.8 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP2.7 bn at the end of December 2021.
Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt came in fourth place, with a growth rate of 39.41% over the past year, after the bank’s total personal loans portfolio increased from EGP 211mn at the end of December 2021, to reach EGP 294mn at the end of December 2022.
As for the fifth place, Housing and Development Bank came with 33.54% over the past year, after its total personal loans portfolio increased to EGP9.1 bn pounds at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP6.8 bn at the end of December 2021.
